Mae Llŷr Pierce yn artist eangfrydig, chwilfrydig sydd yn creu gwaith drwy sawl modd a chyfrwng. Wedi astudio celf a dylunio graffeg yn ffurfiol bu yn darlunio, printio a rhwymo llyfrau, dylunio yn ddigidol, creu gosodiadau celf, arbrofi gyda gwehyddu tecstiliau a mwy.

Mae’n cael ei yrru gan reddf am ddefnyddio lliw, hiwmor a delweddau annisgwyl i fforio y mannau niwlog ble mae technoleg, natur a gwaddol pobl yn cwrdd. Mae wedi mwynhau cydweithio gyda sawl grwp, cwmni, ysgol ac unigolyn ar brosiectau creadigol a masnachol.

Yn ddiweddar mae’n datblygu peintiadau haniaethol a chysyniadol yn seiliedig ar frasluniau ac astudiaethau o natur; elfenau sydd wedi bod yn ganolog iw waith drwy gydol ei yrfa.

Llŷr Pierce is an artist with an inquisitive and open minded approach, used to working through various media and methodologies. Having formally studied art and graphic design he has illustrated, printed and bound books, worked with digital media, conceptualised and built installations, experimented with weaving textiles and more.

Pierce is driven to explore the vague spaces where technology, nature and the detritus of human life meet and co-exist with an instinctive use of colour, humour and unexpected imagery. He has enjoyed collaborating with a variety of individuals, groups, companies, schools and institutions on creative and commercial projects.

His recent focus is on painting and developing new concepts from the drawings and studies of nature that have formed the basis of his practice.
